Diversity

Fostering a learning environment that accepts and celebrates students from all backgrounds and walks of life is extremely important to Anne.

Being a bilingual speaker of English and French, Anne understands that language helps define who we are. She also knows, from her first-hand experiences studying French at Fordham University and studying, living and working in France for a year, that being open to new languages, cultures, people, and traditions helps build community and acceptance.

The open mindset Anne has developed  as a language learner and teacher has helped her to accommodate the diverse needs of her students. Therefore, Anne is especially comfortable working with ELL students and students with special needs. Her time teaching in France, in addition to her high school student teaching experience accurately depicts her view on diversity.
